Hmm cos i also always tot hot dog is with the bun. but my kids refer to the sausage as a hot dog.. and err they don't actually know what a sausage is. err.. so .. err .. nevermind.. writing lesson plans. so i wonder if people would understand if they refer to just the sausage as a hot dog... and if other people also call it a hot dog (like fatum)
